Last year in August I spent a week in Eugene,Oregon painting and being mentored by a wonderful artist and friend Gene Costanza.
He recently sent these photos to me painting at his home in Oregon. I had such a great time with Gene and can't wait to paint with him again.

Wow. What a great opportunity! I haven't done much painting but I took a class while I was visiting Yosemite National Park a couple years ago and apparently I did well. I'd love to get into painting... any suggestions for beginners?
